How can you Mix & Master for such a low price? Our prices are reflective of our high operating expense and the high volume of projects we receive. And by receiving mastering projects via mail or internet, we can avoid the pitfalls of having to schedule appointments or sessions with our client, allowing us to produce work beyond "ordinary" office hours. This in turn means a much lower price to our clients.

What is a ISRC and how do I obtain one? Please Note: ISRC is NOT required to use our services. The International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) is an international standard code for uniquely identifying sound recordings and music video recordings. The code was developed by the recording industry in conjunction with the ISO technical committee 46, subcommittee 9 (TC 46/SC 9), which codified the standard as ISO 3901 in 1986, and updated it in 2001. An ISRC code identifies a particular recording, not the work (composition and lyrical content) itself. Therefore, different recordings, edits, and remixes of the same work should each have their own ISRC code. Works are identified by ISWC codes. Recordings remastered without significant audio-quality changes should retain their existing ISRC codes, but the threshold is left to the discretion of the record company. The provision of ISRCs is overseen by appointed national ISRC agencies. These national ISRC agencies issue codes directly to the public and may also utilize authorized ISRC Managers to issue ISRCs. In the United States, the appointed agency is RIAA. ISRC codes can be obtained directly from RIAA for an administrative fee ($80 at time of this publication) or from a commercial ISRC manager. [4] Only in territories where there is no national ISRC agency does IFPI provide codes to users. To obtain an ISRC in your country please click this link -->http://isrc.ifpi.org/contact/national-agency-contacts#A Please Note: ISRC is NOT required to use our services.

What is the process? To be able to provide you with great affordable rates and fast turnaround, all our services are completely digital and analogue processed. Using the industries absolute best software, plugins and analogue gears, we can provide an excellent digital OR analogue sound to your mixes AND/OR masters. We work in a private studio with top quality computing systems, hardware and monitors and we have over 15+ years’ experience mixing and mastering every genre of music. Once we receive your material and payment, we begin to prepare and work on your project right away. Mixes are usually mixed completely then we rest our ears for a day and come back for anything missed. Before the mix is finalized, we will send you the mix in mp3 format for your review, if any changes are needed to be made, we will make them and send the mix back. This process repeats until you confirm the mix is complete and to your satisfaction. Masters are tested on over four (4) pairs of high-end monitors and numerous sound systems such as an iPod (mp3 player), car stereo, Laptop speakers and a boom box, to make sure you are getting the best possible sound on every playback device! Your files will be delivered to you in a personal private Dropbox folder shared between us. You can choose to delete the files and folder or keep it to transfer material in the future if needed.

How do I know it will sound better? You always have input into how your project sounds, and we will do everything we can to make your audio project sound incredible.

What is the difference between mixing and mastering?Mixing: Is basically tinkering with everything you have recorded to complete your songs. We'll do things like drop in effects, adjust fader, EQ your tracks and so on. Think of mixing as putting the puzzle together. We're putting together the parts of what you have recorded, making sure everything hangs together right and putting some finishing touches on things. When we're done mixing your songs, you should be pleased with the way the song sounds and feel confident that you don't need to add anything musically. Mastering: Is the process of taking a recording and enhancing it to its fullest potential. It’s the fine-tuning that makes your track sound as “big” and as “clear” as possible without compromising the original feel of the song. This also makes the album sound unified. When you send us your audio for mastering services, your tracks will be analyzed by an experienced mastering engineer in one of our acoustically treated mastering studios. After we get an overall impression of the existing sound balance, your project is then professionally mastered using an appropriate chain of top-drawer analogue and digital mastering tools.

Why does my project need fresh ears? After working on countless songs and albums, mastering engineers develop an acute sense of sonic and musical knowledge that is key to successful mastering. It is also a huge plus that the mastering engineer wasn’t there when you recorded and mixed your album. Hearing your songs for the first time, a fresh pair of ears can offer truly objective advice.
-
Why should I have my audio mastered?Mastering: the final step in bringing your recording to its optimum potential. It gives your music the professional commercial quality necessary to compete nationally and globally. No matter if your audio is planned for radio, CD/cassette duplication, CD Rom/ DVD authoring or publishing to the world wide web, it must be mastered to take full advantage of the media in which it is to be released.

How Does Revisions Work?Revisions are changes or edits you would like made to your Mix & (or) Masters once they have been sent to you. Each mixing package includes a certain amount of revisions. The revisions phase is designed for minor adjustments to what was mentioned in the original mixing form. Turn around for revisions are 5 business days (Though are sometimes delivered sooner depending on the studio schedule) Below are the details of what IS and IS NOT included in your allowed revisions: What is covered: Adjustments to instructions mentioned on the mixing form, that perhaps aren’t exactly how you envisioned them You’d like the volume of an instrument and/or vocal adjusted. You’d like effects adjusted (i.e. more reverb, less delay) What is NOT covered: Does not include adding any new instruction that was not mentioned in the original Mixing Form Does not include arrangement changes: Things like creating drops, stop effects and mutes New file submissions are not included (Vocal files or instrument files) You have up to 5 days from the time we send your mix to request any free revisions. After each revision, you have 2 days to request another free revision. after the said days, your project is considered complete and you can no longer have the option to use any remaining free revisions. If you want a revision after your project has been completed you will need to order a new revision by email us ( RichMusic314@gmail.com) revision notes with details and name of your song. Once your email has been received we will send you a payment link for your revisions, Additional revisions are $25 each. Once You approve your main mix, there is no longer the option to have anything changed in the mix (without incurring additional fees), even if you still have not used up all revisions.
